Hilarische boeken

Hallo allemaal, de afgelopen jaren heb ik een aantal humoristische boeken gelezen. Mijn favoriete schrijvers zijn toch wel Herman Brusselmans en Robert Rankin.

Heeft iemand nog boekentips voor mij?

Als je van Douglas Adams houdt, dan zou ik Douglas Adams' Starship Titanic door - voormalig Monty Python lid - Terry Jones aanbevelen.

Hierbij enkele humoristische boeken die ik het afgelopen jaar gelezen heb :

Mordecai Richler : Barney's Version (er komt normaal een nieuwe vertaling uit in januari of februari = Barney's Versie)

Diaz Junior : The brief wondrous life of Oscar Wao (is ook in vertaling te krijgen)

Leuk onderwerp. Drie humoristische boeken die ik dit jaar gelezen heb:

-Flashman and the Dragon uit de onvolprezen Flashman serie.

-Lucia in London deel drie in de reeks. Hoofdfiguur is Lucia Phillips, een soort Hyacinth Bucket (spreek uit 'Bouquet') in de jaren twintig, maar dan nog vele malen erger

-En natuurlijk Don't point that thing at me!, een bizarre mix tussen een hard-boiled misdaadroman en een Wodehousiaanse komedie. Een typerend citaat:

"Bed is the only place for protracted telephoning. It is also execellently suited to reading, sleeping and listening to canaries. It is not a good place for sex: sex should take place in armchairs, or in bathrooms, or on lawns which have been brushed but not too recently mown, or on sandy beaches if you happen to have been circumcised. If you are too tired to have intercourse except in bed you are probably too tired anyway and should be husbanding your strength."
