My Italian isn’t that good (well, good is an exaggeration), but I didn’t have any trouble reading the titles/authors in the book stack – it’s the English one. There should be a language specific book stack for each language LT supports. I’m sure LT’ers would be happy to supply the needed graphics. Also, do appreciate the irony – the bottom book on the stack (the Italian site shows more of the books in the same stack than does the US site) is Henry Petroski’s Small Things Considered: Why There Is No Perfect Design. 2keristarsI'm under the impression that there are some changes coming to the way the different language versions of LT work/interact, so this may very well be a deferred thing. Also, I'm not sure that it isn't an RSI rather than a bug... 3loraxAlso, I'm not sure that it isn't an RSI rather than a bug... I'm 100% sure that it's an RSI rather than a bug; civitas, I'm going to close the bug, and recommend that you repost it as an RSI. 4civitasNo – it’s a bug. Here’s why: The image is on the first page a prospective new, non-English speaking user sees. What it says is that he’s not going to be completely at home here - this is a foreign site and they haven’t bothered to make it completely Italian (in this case). The effect may be subtle, but why give a prospective new user something negative to think about, or to have a vague feeling about, before signing up and sending in their money. It’s a bug because it’s something that should have been addressed as part of the localization effort, but wasn’t. I'm reopening this. I'd like the site designers at LT to consider the issue, if you don't mind. 5loraxI am not going to be involved in an edit war. I will say only that non-ideal behavior is not a bug, and that you would probably be more likely to get consideration from the staff if you posted this as an RSI. But it's your call. 6
