In a quick scan, I didn't see this so...
I'm working on getting my library on here, CKing anything that needs filled in, adding the Original Title (a new field!) when its needed..
you know, the thing we all do when we enter our books.
My question is... once I have all this done, is there any way to download MY library (with the ck/work pages included although not necessarily editable) to my computer so I have a private copy I (and anyone wanting easy browse to my library) can use to see what is there?
(And one of these days we WILL get our library out of storage - then it will REALLY get fun! Along with finding out exactly how many duplicate titles I have)
Yes - look here. (Or click on "Import/Export" under the "More" tab at the top of each page.)
But anyone can have an easy browse to your library; they just need to go to your catalog page.
4> Yeah that was the other thing that bothered me. Isn't it easier for your friends to browse your library if it's on a website than if they have to get to your computer?
not if they're at my house and I'm off-line for any reason whatsoever.
Of If I need to give something to the insurance people for whatever reason.
If you don't need to edit the info after you've downloaded it, you can print your library and save the PDF. Just about every field is available when printing.
