Either books are shipping *REALLY* fast this month or there's a bit of a mix between the "What did you win?" and the "Books Received" threads... ;)

7.> Yes, I suspect the latter. Unless the books mentioned are ebooks, they usually do not ship so fast.

Well, I went home for lunch and I had a packet on my front door. I didn't suspect that it was my April ER book since it is fairly soon to recieve it AND it felt like 2 books. Needless to say that it was my ER book but they sent me an additional book as well. IS THIS NORMAL? I'm fairly new in the ER game so just curious.

The book that I did request and won is The Soldiers Wife by Margaret Leroy. The book that I didn't request and was sent is A Tiger in the Kitchen by Cheryl Lu-Lien Tan. I guess YAY for me! :)

51RockStarNinja
May 9, 2011, 1:57pm

It depends on the publisher as to what you get. Some ER books come with a letter, some come with an extra book, some come with nothing. All of mine so far have come with nothing, but I'm crossing my fingers for the day I get an extra book.

Outlander has reached California as well. Same info as in #57.

I'm feeling a bit like a dummy now. When I went to add it to my library, it showed that I already owned a copy. I had it in a set of books I inherited from a friend. Didn't remember that when I requested. Hopefully it will be really good and I can give one copy to my daughter.

Hi everyone , I received a copy of the ebook An Odd Boy which was up in March 2011. This was a disappointing book . As I stay in India there are only a very few books (3-4) that are offered every month. This is very unfair as we don't get to review good books at all. If this message is read by the people concerned I request you to take some measures to prevent this. Thank you.

>93 - It's up to the publishers where they send their books on offer. While we encourage them to send broadly, they sometimes do not have distribution rights in any specific country and/or don't want to incur the costs of shipment.

Still waiting on an e-book. Hope I don't sound impatient, but I was under the impression that they were usually e-mailed out shortly after the winners were selected. (I double checked that LT has my correct email address, and I have been keeping a close eye on my spam folder, too.)

I only mention it because this is my first request/win of a digital work - anyone have previous experience of e-books taking a while to be sent out?
