I'm looking for a book that mentions the prices of everyday consumer goods. How much did people earn and how much did they spend on living? What were the different currencies, and how were they converted?
Thanks

It's been a few years since I read it so I can't recall how much of it would be relevant, but Standards of Living in the Later Middle Ages is very good and definitely deals with incomes, expenditure and lifestyles.

I haven't read Glyn Davies's A History of Money, but it looks like that might be suitable too.

Thanks. I'll check them.
