I have another question. it sounds like I am dumb but do you vote for other peoples reviews, and if you do how do you do it?
It's a good point. I try to call them "topics" whenever I can. I don't think the user-interface calls them "threads" anywhere. But the word creeps in--to my language too.
Oh, this is timspalding. I have to be in Jeremy's account to test something...
>5 You can express approval for a review by clicking on the thumbs-up icon found at the bottom right of every review. It is next to the 'flag' button which lets you show that you don't think what is written is a true review in LT terms - it's not for expressing your opinion of the quality of the review itself. I think public opinion has decreed that 'Good', 'Bad' or even 'Mostly harmless' could be valid reviews ;-)
To expand on #8, there's a red "flag" for terms of service violations (copyright violations, for instance) and a blue one for "not a review", which is generally accepted to mean things like "$2.00", "haven't read yet", etc.
I really must move my "meh" review from my "comments" field to the "review" field. Just so I feel all in the spirit of things.
