Can't wait to start reading it only sad I can't make Elizabeth's talk in the same branch. Have seen her before and she's very entertaining and informative. 2MicheleKallioI have just started reading Elizabeth Chadwick's book Lady of the English and as usual I am reluctant to put it aside for anything. It is always a joy to read a new book by her 4MicheleKallioI have to admit this book dragged on and on. I don't think it is her best. THE GREATEST KNIGHT and SCARLET LION were her best. I am trudging on with this one though. 5sds6565Elizabeth Chadwick happens to be my all time favourite author. Her story telling combined with her historical facts make her books a very enjoyable read. Although I have not yet read "Lady of the English" I am anticipating that it will be a book that I will not abandon till the last page has been turned. 6abrunoHi all, I have 2 copies of LADY OF THE ENGLISH by Elizabeth Chadwick up for grabs at my blog, Passages to the Past!
