Jay Silverheels was in the motion picture Key Largo. One of the best flickers of all time, what with Humphrey Bogart as the straight man and Edward G. Robinson reprising his Little Caesar role and Lauren Bacall as the brave widow. Great stuff. He played an Indian side kick, there weren't any Native Americans at that time, in some early teevee series, as well. The strong, silent type, kemo sabe.

I'm sorry I missed yesterday's birthday list, I am a big fan of Anthony Bourdain. Anyone who eats for a living, with the exception sometimes of Andrew Zimmern, is my hero.

Lena Horne, Chan Ho Park, JOHN GAY (1685).
Quiet on the birthday front today. Who remembers Buddy Rich from the Johnny Carson show? Lena Horne was a beautiful singer of songs who kept her beauty into her twilight years.
