Seeking an interviewer for two books
Secret Mandarin
Set in China just after the Opium War, this story is based on the real-life adventures of Robert Fortune, a Scottish Botanist who went into the tea plantations and risked his life to bring out plants and expertise to help the East India Co to set up their Himalayan operation.
Secret of the Sands
Set on the Arabian Peninsula the year that slavery was banned in the British Empire (1833) this is the story of Zena, an Abyssinian slave girl, who embarks on a dangerous journey across the desert with a British funded expedition to save two kidnapped naval officers.
