I've added search pages to profile pages. Here's an example from ablachly's profile: There will be some other library-search-related features coming out shortly. 2majkiaJul 25, 2011, 2:31pm
very nice!
So you only see this on other people's profiles? 5loraxJul 25, 2011, 4:50pm
Nice. Thank you.
Nice, Simple fearure. I also like that it defaults to All collections and not Your Library, as this avoids some issues.
Nice! -- I wouldn't mind having that on my own profile page...
go to the home page instead - search your books is right at the top. or you can do it from your library page itself.
I realize that -- I've certainly used both of those methods (as well as the "your books" link on the main search page, which is sometimes very useful).
I was pondering the value of consistency, not capability. Once one gets used to searching other libraries using a box on the right-hand side of the profile page, then it its only a matter of time before habit leads the mouse to the same area of the screen as one contemplates a search of one's own bookstacks.
At any rate, it's no big deal -- just an idea that I threw out in suitably weak terms (so as to reflect its relative unimportance)...
ok, gotcha. Sometimes LT is so info dense that I miss stuff so thought you might have, too.
# 10 by SilentInAWay> Yeah, I'd love it right under my "Your profile" section on the profile. I'd use it far more than I use any of the green sections below it. I understand it's duplicative, but it's also probably the #1 action I perform on LT. | 33,926 messages This group does not accept members.
