I really enjoyed this short taster of a biography of Virginia, intended I think to tempt new readers to her work and life, but also a reminder of the pleasures for those who have long trodden the Bloomsbury path. Nicely illustrated with black and white photographs. Well produced and a pleasing addition to your Bloomsbury shelf, not to mention an ideal gift for possible new 'disciples'!

I will be looking for this one Caro and thank you. I have loved every bio I have read on V.W. (ouch. new rescue kitten clawing her way up my back as I type. love my critters) I will soon be needed to expand my 'All Things Bloomsbury' shelf from one to two. Yea!

Thanks for the tip! I will definitely check it out. I actually wrote about Virginia Woolf (and James Joyce) in my master thesis, but I never really got so far as to read an entire biography of her. I will now :-)
