Hi Melissa,
I tried to post a comment after joining but something must've been wrong because I wasn't able to leave any comment. I clicked on select profile and nothing happened. Then I tried clicking on Publish and it didn't publish my comments. Nothing showed up in select profile.I'll go back later and try again if you can tell me what I did wrong or does something need to be fixed???

I do too. That was the second time I've read it. It was also one of my 25 books I read last year.

I lost count of the number of times I've read it. It was one of our assigned books in eight grade, and since it was an assignment, we worked as slowly as the slowest reader. It took us two months to get through it! So I read through it a dozen or so times. Fun sequel to that story: That was the first semester. My schedule changed the second semester because I was moving from the beginning band class to intermediate. When I sat down in my new lit class, a just about flipped out when the teacher said, "We're going to be reading a new book this semester," and held up The Witch of Blackbird Pond. I went directly to my guidance councilor and said, "I will go back to beginning band if that's the only way to avoid going over this book again." To be clear, I really do like this book. I just couldn't stand the thought of spending another two months waiting for people to catch up with me, again, on the same book. | 2,095 members 216,811 messages AboutThis topic is not marked as primarily about any work, author or other topic.
