I am sorry to announce I will be otherwise occupied this Friday at our usual Chat Room Party time. I hope someone else will step up and announce that Rosie will be setting them up!

I previously announced I would not be here tonight, but I've changed my mind. I'll be here briefly. My house party does not start until 7 pm my time so I have a bit of time to chat.

Living room is all clean! Dining room sparkles. I've decided to not make a quiche, just going to do crackers and cheese with some ham slices, too. Tea, and lemon water. I am just not the hostess with the mostess!

Missed the controversial moment during half time--guess I wasn't watching that closely.

Chat is apparently a middle-of-the-night thing, so I doubt I will ever be on it, heh.

Polymath - on Fridays I aim to check in at about 8 pm Green Dragon time (eastern USA); it is about 5 pm on the west coast so it seemed this was a time when at least the USA Librarythingers might be interested in chatting. We have had some European/UK participants from time to to time, and for them, yes it is the middle of the night. I think the Chinese located people are in the early morning So it seems that it is difficult to find a convenient time for every part of the world. Do not hesitate to go in to the Chat room, and announce that you are doing it, whenever it is convenient for you. Perhaps you'll find some others who'd like to chat at that time, too.

Oh I understand, I know the bulk of LTers are in the US. Please don't think my comment was an angry one or anything like that! More just a, well that's a crummy circumstance! kinda deal, ya know. 'Cause yeah, 8pm EST is 2am in my part of the world, so that just won't happen, haha.

Really, there are lots of folks in circumstances similar to yours. I am always amazed at how many non-USA folks are active here. Give it some effort by declaring another time. Lets say 6 pm where you live, figure out what that is for other parts of the world and see if it would work. Then declare yourself chatty, and try it for a couple few weeks in a row. You may start something good!

declare yourself chatty hahaha, awesome. Honestly I tend to be on the computer most days for the better part of the day, lol. That's part of why it's such a, well shucks!! thing, 'cause I'm nearly always around, hahaha, except for the one time chosen. :P

Well, 6pm I'm generally in the kitchen cooking dinner, lol. But I'm typically around from 9.30ish-17ish, and 20/21-23ish (depends when exactly dinner was started and such). So, up until 11am EST, and again 2/3-5ish pm EST (and on Fri/Sat usually till 6pm EST)

If anyone is ever around then, lemme know! lol.
