Interviewer needed for the updated second edition of the "Baby Boomer's Guide to Caring for Aging Parents." The book is a how-to book with tips and suggestions, lists and worksheets, and personal stories covering the key areas, including "the talk," and legal, insurance, housing, and health issues. There's also a special introduction by Dr. Joyce Brothers. Originally published in 1998, this is an updated electronic version with all the latest information and resource websites. Excerpts are on my web page, www.BabyBoomerEldercare.com and I can send the interviewer a PDF copy if necessary.
Rather than just an author chat, I'd love for the discussion to be about how others are dealing with caring for their parents (or spouses). And what kinds of concerns they are having. With so many of us in the sandwich generation having to deal with this growing problem, we can have a lively discussion and hopefully address people's concerns. I'm mostly concerned with the many people who don't think this relates to them because, as so many say, "my parents are doing pretty well now." Well, that's the perfect time to start the process, rather than waiting until they're not doing so well. We'll get into those areas and so much more.
