Cover of Bloomburg Businessweek is "Amazon wants to burn the book business" and the article inside is "Amazon's Hitman: A Tale of Books, Betrayal, and the (alleged) secret plot to destroy literature" by Brad Stone.
Interesting article, and I was especially struck by the way that the article admitted right up front that traditional publishing sucks for authors and consumers, and is really only great for the publishers themselves.
But, then they looked at the author-direct-to-distributor method that Amazon is working on, all they could see was the 'Amazon controlling the market' part, and the article screamed fire and destruction and the end of all good printed things.
