We have no thread about work, and I wanna know more about Ma's new adventure!

Okay, Marianne... Have you come up with a name? Website? What all are you doing? How have you spread the word around? Do you have FB account for it for us to "like" and therefore help spread the word? How can we help you grow?

So excited for you!!!

Oh, the joys of smartphones... So sorry, meant to post this thread in another group, and it somehow ended up here. I'm starting to worry about myself. :/

Who's Marianne? Who's ma (or perhaps I should ask whose ma?)? And is Work the title of a book?

Please snort more explicitly, Amy.

Haha, thanks for the giggle, dcozy! I'm assuming you were being silly and/or sarcastic. I shall respond in kind...

Just posted the thread to the group I originally intended to, and while doing so, I realized I could've erased the content in my first post and left the second post. Had I been thinking properly, I would've deleted the first post and written my apology/explanation in its stead. Though, had I been thinking properly, I likely would've posted to the correct group in the first place. Now I shall leave it all as is.

To answer your question, dcozy (I'm sure you're waiting nearby with baited breath), Ma is our nickname for Marianne, so phrasing your question as "who's" Ma was correct, she is not actually a mother. Work is not a title of a book, it refers to that time consuming activity that pays our bills and cuts into our reading time. She's starting an organization business and I (as you read) wanted to know more details.

I hope I have snorted explicitly enough for you now. By the way (since you may be questioning), the snort in my screen name refers to when I laugh, not to an illegal recreational habit. Contrary to how it may appear, I am indeed drug free. ;) While I'm explaining my name, I've misspelled snort because when I first went to use that handle (for AIM or something, no longer remember, it was back in college, long ago...), the proper spelling of amysnorts was taken. I've stuck with the misspelling and use that as a screen name or username.

Thanks for the good natured sno . . . reply.

So, is there a FB page?

No FB page yet, but she has her website up and running and just got her business cards. If you're in the Silicon Valley area, I can pass it on if you're interested. ;)
