are there any connections/ groups / linkages to these types of journals/magazines or indeed any other book magazines . I subscribe to the London Review of Books and there are just so many interesting articles and good reads in that specific Review. would it be useful to import their reviews into this site or to get LRB to support the Library Thing and visa versa??

There is a place on the main work page for a book where members can add a short quote from Published Reviews. See
