I've been looking for years for a Scholastic book that I borrowed over and over from the library when I was a kid. It was a book of ghost stories that had a pink cover with a ghost black dog on the cover and a house in the distance. The book either came out in the last 1960s or early 1970s. I've gone back to the library but, I assume, that they got rid of it after it wore out.

Hi. Sorry. This isn't the one. It had a lighter pink cover and the dog was right in the middle of the cover with the house off in the distance. Thanks though.

One way to find it is to browse all the lists of vintage Scholastic (see bottom of page for links to the various prefixes, this is before ISBN). Search by keyword if you think "ghosts" or "ghost" is in the title. Look up Google Images with title/author to find cover images.
