It was a book of ghost stories that had a pink cover with a ghost black dog on the cover and a house in the distance. The book either came out in the last 1960s or early 1970s. I've gone back to the library but, I assume, that they got rid of it after it wore out. 2bookelDoes it look like this? It does have a ghost dog story. Jones The Witch in the Wintry Wood, Aileen Fisher The Ghost Dog of South Mountain, Frances Carpenter The Thing at the Foot of the Bed, Maria Leach Ghost in the Orchard, Aileen Fisher The Golden Arm, Maria Leach The Ghosts from the Graveyard, Sorche Nic Leedhas 3AngelaWHi. Sorry. This isn't the one. It had a lighter pink cover and the dog was right in the middle of the cover with the house off in the distance. Thanks though. 4bookelOne way to find it is to browse all the lists of vintage Scholastic (see bottom of page for links to the various prefixes, this is before ISBN). Search by keyword if you think "ghosts" or "ghost" is in the title. Look up Google Images with title/author to find cover images. | AboutThis topic is not marked as primarily about any work, author or other topic. Touchstones |
