"Talk" is suddenly not registering what we've read ...

Sure, it's not a huge issue, but after having read what was showing up as unread on the "Topics from your groups" list, I refreshed the page and ... nothing happened. Usually the things that were listed that I'd opened would have disappeared (or switched over to the "read" display), but this morning they're all still there, perhaps increasing the number of posts listed.

The links are variously showing in visited purple and unvisited blue, so I'm guessing the blue ones have new posts, but every topic since last night is still showing up as "unread".

Is this a glitch related to the new servers?

However it is also not posting to threads sometimes. And even Tim's post in another thread remained as UNREAD, despite reading them! Something is weird.

Trito for me - maybe that particular problem is just on your side BTRIPP.

But of course that doesn't change anything about the original report.

I'm also noticing that the one I just read still shows with one unread, but by the time I get back from reading the next one it's OK - but that one isn't. I thibnk it's just updating very slowly tonight.

Sometimes I experience behavior similar to this when my login session is no longer valid. It may pay to log out and log in again.

I e-mailed Tim about it and he said one of the database servers was lagging ... I guess it got caught up now.
