Not sure why, but "A Burmese friend told me that many of the old British headstones were bought up Burmese businessmen in Rangoon as fashionable garden accessories." from Finding George Orwell in Burma by Emma Larkin. I think maye because this book is taking me to a place that I don't know enough about and want to know more. The line invokes all kinds of connections and meanings that I am ignorant about, as well as an overgrown garden that I can see in my mind.
