It's hardly the bug of the year, but I posted to http://www.librarything.com/topic/137042 and it came up message #40 (after lriley's #39). Then I hit edit, I changed a few words and saved again, and it came up #39, with lriley's post above it still being #39.
(I feel like this bug is giving me prophetic powers. I see, I see, this bug getting marked unreproducible! Eh, whatever. It happened.)
you must have a number of posts, to be able to start a new topic? Or I post something wrong?
Editing seems to give a message a number one lower than it should have. This has been going on for a long time. Wish it were fixed, though.
I reported this two months ago. After each post I use CTRL+R in FireFox. This is a forced reload which assures that you do neither see cached posts nor edit later something outdated. And it is a workaround for this bug. FireFox allows also CTRL+F5 it will relaod the page and all active bookmarklets.
It was reported the same day as Tim implemented the new talk. I think he's aware of it.
