When I display my books using "Covers" and view in rows, I noticed that there are a number of blank spaces and some covers are shifted off-center, peaking out from behind others. I also noticed in the past day or so that some of my cover images changed to completely different book covers that I don't even own. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yes. I've had the off-centered covers issue for a long time, but it usually rights itself when I refresh the screen. Today it's not fixing itself and there are lots of blank spaces. There's another thread about this; they're aware of the problem and I feel confident it will be fixed soon. The good news with this kind of issue is that usually nothing is lost, it just takes a little bit until they get it back to normal.

Thanks. That was helpful. I noticed that refresh had worked too, at least until today.

This should have been fixed as part of the covers changes.

Nope, sorry - just tried and by only the third page of cover view my covers became all askew.
Using Mac OS X 10.6.8 and FF 15.01
Plus I use 10 rows and increased size in cover view.

I usually get to more than three pages before this happens, but because of this problem with display I haven't used cover view for ages. So don't know if this is usual now...

Phooey. Reopening!

The other 'thing' with cover view is it still doesn't return to top of page when going to next page. I wish it would - like it used to years ago...

Add: couldn't agree more:

After more investigating, it is doing it every three pages.
I can fix it by changing to list and then back to cover - and... it keeps the page number now!
It used to return to first page when returning to cover view - so that's better.

Don't know what's with the third page thing though....

This still happens to me all the time. I just assumed it was still being worked on.

I find that using the refresh button often fixes it, BUT that lands me back on page 1 of my covers. When I'm on page 7 and it happens, it gets a little tedious to have to note what page I'm on, refresh, and then have to navigate back to the page I was at (although thankfully that's only one click -- unless I'm so far along I have to "show all", which also takes up too much space on my screen). Then after I successfully have viewed page 7, it will happen again on page 9 or 10 or whatever. Rinse and repeat.

Not every third page for me. In my case it only starts at about page 15.

This is a known problem. We've traced it to books for which LT thinks there's an image, but Amazon is returning a broken image. We are, unfortunately, deferring this bug, as it relies on a mess of JavaScript code we do not think is re-writable, except from scratch.
