I'm editing my books, and I want to double check something. Obviously height is the measurement from the bottom to the top of the book's face. It's length and thickness I'm confused about. Is length the "width" of the page and thickness the "depth"?
As you look at the book's front cover, length is the "width" of the page - how deep does a shelf need to be to hold it. Thickness is the width of the spine - how much shelf space it will take up.
