I'm not much of a computer person but, I am excited about using library thing to organize my books and prevent me from purchasing the same books over and over. However, I'm confused about several things. I have just entered 700+ books using the "add books" tab. Whenever I go to "your books" it says there are no books here. ? Also, I would like to use the "wish list" and cannot figure out how to get there. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

We can't help you very much because you have a private account, but your profile says that you have 711 books cataloged, so you probably do.

Oh, I see you figured out the going private already. And ran into one of the problems with it - usually we can go poke around your catalog and tell you exactly what the problem is, but with a private one we've got no idea.

I suspect that you put your books into one collection and are looking at another. Try selecting All Collections from your Home page, your Profile, or the dropdown in the top left of the catalog and see if your books show up.

The Wishlist is just another collection; use that dropdown to see what's in it. To put books in there from the Add Books page, click the Show all collections link on the left _before_ you search for the book, and check Wishlist (and uncheck Your Library or whatever the top one is - that's the default collection that every book will go into unless you explicitly choose another. You can rearrange your collections to put what you want at the top - click Edit Collections at the bottom of the list).

To move books from one collection to another - I strongly suggest you add a column in one of your views (the ABCDE things across the top of your catalog - the sprocket at the end lets you edit them) for Collections. Then click on the brown square with an arrow on it, in the icon box on the right of every book record in your catalog - it's supposed to be a file folder, and it lets you move things between collections. The collection(s) the book is in are highlighted blue - click on one to remove the book from it, and click on an un-highlighted one to add the book to it. You'll get a popup complaining if you remove a book from all collections, so add it to where you want it to go first then remove it from the old one. A book can be in as many collections as you want.

You can also adjust collections from the Edit page for a book, or from the page you get to if you click the title (the book page or Main Page).

Check what collection you're in. As developer I AM able to get into your account as you, and I can tell you that one of your collections has all the books, and the rest have nothing. If you set "Your books" to "wishlist" you'd see nothing. I suspect that's what you're seeing.
