I was trying to clear up the name of the author of Ants: Standard Methods for Measuring and Monitoring Biodiversity,
(who is Jonathan D. Majer) which first showed up as J. Majer, but that seems to be the author of something about crystal balls, so I think I made this combination in error, but I don't know how to undo it.
Can you help?
Okay, I've split J. Majer's page, and aliased J. Majer (1) to Jonathan D. Majer. Problem solved.
On the same book, when I click on Ted R. Schultz at the top of the work page, I get http://www.librarything.com/author/schultztedr with no works mentioned, but when I click on
under the other authors section I get http://www.librarything.com/author/tedrschultz with that
Can you explain this behavior? Seems weird to me.
That's because of the two different strings for it: tedrschultz vs schultztedr. It's unfortunate the incorrect one wins out. And, alas, there's a bug with other authors which prevents combining them.
I'll see if I can use some trickery.
ETA: Ah, simply a little correction. Ted R. Schultz had been entered as such, not as "Schultz, Ted R.".
