I was in Munro books in Victoria the other day and found a board book edition of Pride and Prejudice told in 12 pages, with one word per page. The illustrations are felt doll photos. It's called Cozy Classics: Pride and Prejudice, and I just had to buy. Any collector of P&P editions needs this one for the collection. Here is P&P in 12 pages/words:
Friends
Sisters
Dance
Mean
Sick
Muddy
Yes?
No!
Write
Read
Walk
Marry
Yeah, it misses the whole Wickham subplot, but overall, pretty good I think. There are more titles coming. Apparently War and Peace and Les Miserables in May. Love to see either of those in 12 words.

I saw that last weekend, and another P & P board book:
Pride and Prejudice: A Babylit Board Book! Babies are so lucky these days!

2 Gentlemen
4 Dances
etc.
The lower numbers were good. When they got to higher numbers it was more of a stretch.
