This may not be exactly the right group to ask but ... I'm looking for suggestions of books, mostly but not necessarily all fiction, set in the late '40s and early '50s in the U.S. They could be contemporary or historical fiction. Thanks for any help!

The latter half of WLT: A Radio Romance by Garrison Keillor

The Natural Man by Ed McClanahan

The first half of Rich Man, Poor Man by Irwin Shaw

Kathleen Hills sets several mysteries in Upper Michigan in the early1950's starting with Hunter's Dance

Grand Opening by Jon Hassler is set in 1944 Minnesota

Square Dance by Alan Hines is in 1950's Texas
