Hello,

I remember I read this book, the plot was about a secret agent that investigates a bomb in a limo (?). One of the people in the limo was a woman (she might have been a reporter, I don't remember) that survived but then she was targeted by the killers. He takes her into hiding, then one of his team members turns out to be the killer and betrays him. I think the book cover was grayish and the title was yellow or something like that (I think the title began with P or R).

I know it's not much to go on but if anyone can remember this book or author, I'd appreciate it.

Many thanks,

Maya

Maybe look at Anne Stuart's bibliography? Your plot sounds like exactly up her alley,

Thanks, it's not her, I checked. Though the books seem very interesting so I'll check her out.

I read a book way back maybe around 1960, and I remember the plot, sort of, but the author and title are forgotten. It was fiction, possibly written by a female, but it was about someone dying and going to Heaven. The thing that was most sad about the book was that death is forever, and it seemed that Heaven was really not much different from Hell - having to do the same thing for EVER. It probably was a paperback novel. There seemed to be characters that interacted - at least verbally - with one another.

Has anyone else read this? Does it sound familiar?

DeeHenry you may be better off starting your own thread with as descriptive a title as you can, as people might skip over this one if they aren't interested in romantic suspense topics, and yours doesn't sound very romance/suspense/murder from your description.
