So far I'm already ahead of my 2013 book reading pace where I read 76 books. So maybe this this will finally be THE year that I read at least 100 books.

1.The Green Mile Two Dead Girls by Stephen King
2. The Green Mile The Mouse on the Mile by Stephen King
3. The Green Mile Coffey's Hands by Stephen King
4. T*Witches Don't Think Twice by H.B. Gilmour
5. The Spiderwick Chronicles Book 1 The Field Guide
by Tony DiTerLizzi & Holly Black
6. A Haunted Place bY Virginia Coffman
7. More Letters From Camp by Bill Alder
8. The Spiderwick Chronicles Book 2 The Seeing Stone
by Tony DiTerLizzi & Holly Black
9. Still More Letters From Camp by Bill Adler
10. Frank and Joe Hardy: The Clues Brothers Jump Sot Detectives by Franklin W. Dixon
11. Pochantas and the Strangers by Clyde Robert Bulla
12. Patterns in Jade of Wu Ming Fu by Stanwood Cobb

I fininshed these 12 books in January which is a brand new personal record for me for the most number of books read in a single month. Books 4 thru 12 were read over the three day period January 29-31. I think that's also a personal record for the most number of books read over a three day period. And right now I'm ahead of my 2013 reading pace where I read 76 books.

So as of right now I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that's it's gonna be another record setting year for me as far as the number of books read goes and right now there's a real good possibility that I can even read 100 or more books this year.

Thanks a lot bryanoz & wookiebender. Last year I had been off to a great year too and towards the end I didn't even come close. It was disappointing to me that I didn't reach at least 100 books read but at least I set a new personal record to aim for this year.

Happy anniversary Beatles 1964 - Great name

I remember when they arrived in New York 50 years ago today!!

A few classmates took off to see them land. The rest of use had our tiny transistor radios out of our bags the minute class ended so we could listen to "all Beatle weekend radio." It was a major event in New York.
I was even lucky enough to see them live on February 12 at Carneige Hall. Hard to believe that it is 50 years.

Thanks bg853. I chose the name Beatles1964 in honour of their arrival in America and starting The Britsh Invasion. Yea, I know I was 5 years old going on 6 when they arrived February 7, 1964 at JFK International Airport in New York City.
