I just ran across a tag for None Dare Call it Treason that just made me sit back and really laugh. It's a reference to a slang word for people who believe in UFOs: Tinfoil Hat. Found another one: Wingnuts.

Checked out the books that the three users of the tags have slapped this thing on and, sure enough, it all fits within a small range to fit the differing connotations of such slang terms.

What tags have you run across that made you sit back and at least chuckle?

I have gotten rooms full of librarians laughing over "vampire smut" over and over and over again! :)

cockroach

(It's side-splittingly funny on the background of tens of thousands of sober, academic tags.)

The best tag I have ever seen is eilatan's "zachary grey f*cks up again", used on Madeleine L'Engle's An Acceptable Time and A House Like a Lotus. Anyone who has read these books, or any of the books where this character appears, knows just how accurate and amusing it is!
