As already described here,

I tried to add books by entering an ISBN, author, or title, and picked the source "LIBRIS" (Swedish union catalog) or "BIBSYS" (Norwegian union catalog), but all that came up was "nothing found". This is nonsense, since these catalogs do have entries for the terms I was searching for. And they do return hits for some other search terms. For example, "Shakespeare" is found, but "Hemingway" is not found. When I last added books, some weeks ago, it worked fine, as it has always done before. But now something is broken.

>1 LA2: Ok I've found the error: a character encoding issue which is why it's only intermittently showing up. Working on fixing.

I found this link http://www.kb.se/libris/teknisk-information/libris-via-Z3950/
which seems to be saying that they have a newer Z39.50 database which returns records in UTF-8.
I've switched our settings to use that server instead and that is now bringing back what appear to be correctly-encoded results.
Please post back if you see problems or have difficulties; it's entirely possible something else will need to be tested/switched on LibraryThing's side of things.
