I'd like to locate a hardcover dictionary I saw once briefly in Summer 1985 and wanted to buy but couldn't. The salient feature was blue-foil index (thumb) tabs. So it wasn't the "American Heritage Dictionary," which has red thumb tabs. So it was in print in 1985, and the one I saw appeared to be in fresh condition.
I believe that the binding was also blue—a royal-blue color matching the tabs.
