I've added the ability to shut off the ISBN and work levels from contributing to your media. By default, the are on.
You can change it on LibraryThing Settings > Media Settings, here https://www.librarything.com/settings/format
I also added a link to the Media Settings on the media page itself, on the left here: https://www.librarything.com/membermedia/MEMBERNAME

Done. Thanks.

And fix the tags? Right now it looks like this on the localised sites:
Använd LibraryThings medieinformation för ditt ISBN (m.a.o. baserat på ISBN-nivån)

I'm trying very hard not to be stupid, but failing.
If someone could explain to me what "work-level media information" means I'd know then whether it would be more useful to turn it off, or leave it on. Most books I care about are far too old to have ISBNs. Leaving it on seems harmless, and potentially useful.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Tim, I do understand that you are introducing MANY new features at the same time... But please do sometimes
stop and smell the daisies. (I do love Doris Day) So please do give an overview of where you are going, and why.
Guido.

The next steps:
1. Nail down everywhere LibraryThing is getting it wrong on formats, or rather where we can get it slightly better with the conflicting information we have.
2. Recalculate some stuff and push some files so as to allow formats to play a useful part in combination and separation.
3. Debug ability to catalog DVDs, CDs and so forth on Amazon.

The format helping to disambiguate with combining would indeed be lovely.
