Hello, I am new and I am looking for a book I read in 1994. I'm not sure when it was published. It was fiction.

Synopsis as far as I can remember:

A redhead, who I think was called Isabeaux/Isabeau runs away from her husband immediately after marrying him. He gives chase on horseback with another woman whom he has a sexual relationship with. Isabeaux/Isabeau hides in a small town with a saloon which she has the great idea to charge men a dollar for a dance (that's it no sex) and it's a hit. She meets a man and the details on him are fuzzy, but I do remember that they get shot at, and he knocks her down and shields her with his body.

She has sex with the hero of the story, and that's when it is revealed that she is a virgin. He is reluctant to follow through, but she manages to persuade him. The story flips back and forth between Isabeaux/Isabeau and the hero, and her husband and his female companion. At one point the husband and female companion are traveling on horseback. The female companion is tired and sore, and wants to rest. The husband is rude to her, and refuses to stop. She takes her top off and rides in front of him seducing him in order to get a rest that way. That's all I can remember.

The cover of the book is an emerald green with gold letters and has a redheaded woman covered up with a satin looking sheet in the same emerald green color.

It's set in the "west" somewhere. I'm not sure, and from what I can remember it is a decent sized book. It wasn't a short read. I thought the title was "Wild Fire" but I was wrong.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. I have been looking for this book for ages.

Thank you so much! Unfortunately none of those were the book I was looking for. I really appreciate the search though. It means a lot.
