So you've done it! You made it to 50,000 words in 30 days or less. The story may or may not be complete. Doesn't matter. The task itself in done. You've learned important things about your story, about your writing style, and about yourself.

Congratulations! Welcome to the party! It's time to relax.

Showers are in the back on the left.
Buffet with real food is in the back on the right.
Lots of warm towels for wrists and hands.
Bean bag chair pile in the corner.
Other couches and places to relax scattered in small clusters about the room.
Bookshelves overloaded with books to be read.
Confettii shower as you enter (I got it auto reloading this year! Yeah!)

Oh! Celebratory bar, with the appropriate beverage of age and choice. The bartender does card, unfortunately.
Don't miss their tip jar!

Let's hear it for the winners!

Oh! That's so great! Thrilled for you, majkia! *high five* Big congratulations!

I'm a little over 47k and am hope to get to 50k at the write-in I plan to attend this evening.

ETA It's going to be so great to be able to read a book again! For some reason, I just haven't been able to read any books this month, even nonfiction, and I'm having withdrawal pains. I having been listening to The British History podcast before going to sleep every night though. They are informative, funny, and soothing all at the same time, so that I would lie down all wound up from my NaNo writing, but, because the subject matter of the podcast is so far from what I'm writing about, by the time it was over, I'd be relaxed and ready to sleep.

Congratulations to all winners - brilliant job! And to those who've persisted but not made it to the 50K - you've done a grand job at keeping going and trying to get there!

Although I won't finish in the purple I have no doubt I'll Gojirshatner - that has to be my weirdest autocorrect ever - no doubt I'll finish my novel!

I think that is going to have to be the title of my next story, LOL!

Well, one thing at a time, still gotta finish this one!

I'm waiting on a second interview with a potential new employer. If this pans out I will be able to have regular NON-EXHAUSTED writing time!!!
