TinyCat is free to members to use in a purely personal capacity. (Personal accounts get a banner at the bottom, saying it's purely for personal use.) It's cheap for others.
Check out the above and let us know what you think!
I am unable to complete my registration for TinyCat. It says: "Unable to store tinycat account". Any advice?
Sorry for your trouble. It looks like you did successfully set up your TinyCat, as I'm seeing your homepage link on your LT profile: http://www.librarything.com/profile/Asterixia.
If you go to https://www.librarycat.org/lib/Asterixia, you can click the lock/home icon in the bottom right to log into your Admin portal. Or, just go to https://www.librarycat.org/admin and log in (using the same username/password as your LT account).
Please let me know if you're still seeing any other issues. Thanks!
Hi. The problem seems to me that you were already registered for TinyCat. (And then you tried it a few more times, and you were still registered.) I need to investigate. My guess is that you registered long ago. It should, however, be obvious that's the case, and it should error out like that.
How do I display library of congress numbers in tinycat as opposed to the dewey decimal system? I use loc numbers in library thing and catalog them by these numbers, so I cannot find them with the dewey system displaying in tinycat.
I have my Classification in LT set to personal system, and that's what shows in TinyCat as well, but I don't see where to set it in Tiny Cat.
>5 tanyawetenhall: Make sure you've set your call number system from your TinyCat Admin > Circulation Settings here: https://www.librarycat.org/admin/settings/circsettings (it looks like you've actually already done so!).
