Does the LE have a separate commentary. Reading the FS description it says essay but doesn't say if separate commentary or part of the book

Yes, but it is just a relatively short essay if I remember correctly. It's about 1/8" thick or so. Nice, but don't imagine the LE Shakespeare commentaries or anything like that.

It's 48 pages at roughly 12 by 8 inches, incl. notes and index. It's a reprint of an article originally published in 2003 by Oak Knoll Press and the British Museum.
