Now I'm new to this and my family doesn't approve of any of it, but I love it and want to get more into it. I've been into magic since I was old enough to remeber getting everything I can on it, but that isn't really alot. I need to know more. so if anyone can advise in any way I'd really appreciate it.

try meetup.com and look for a pagan group in your area. They often meet at a bookstore cafe or coffee house accessible to all ages, and you'll meet like minded people with whom you can share and learn from each other.

There are also lots of online sites such as witchvox.com (I think that's it) with articles, forums and such. Magick is generally practiced in private, and as such, some feel it's best if you don't share you B.O.S, your meditation and circle work or spell casting with others, outside of those with whom actually participate, so don't feel badly about not sharing all the details with your family. Sometimes it's best if you keep it to yourself, something you do just for yourself.

Good luck.

Thanks for the tips I'll check that out. By the way do you have a account in goodreads by chance? I have another one in there and it's a really good site you should check it out. It's free and there alot of people like us on there. I'm Jamee on there if you want to add me. My emails on there too if you ever want to talk.

If you're interested in magic alone, then I would try something like Liber Noctis by G. St. M Nottingham, as it gives quite a good grounding for working magic.
