Which books are you hoping to snag this month?
I'm not able to see the September batch? Not from the link in the notice you sent, or the link on this group's homepage. It just takes me to the August batch.
Yeah this link worked once, but then said that all of the titles were closed, then moved me to the august batch.
I think I went through the link sent to my PM bucket. Unfortunately I deleted it.
I did find a book I really want though. Petroglyphs here in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Cool.
>1 lorannen: I had to take it down briefly to add in a few titles last-minute. Should be good now!
I'm really excited about this batch... this is my first time with ARCs. Or with LibraryThing, too, actually, because I'm still a newbie.
I'm really hoping to win the two Native American books, Hidden Thunder and The Terrible Indian Wars of the West, because they both look so awesome, especially the first one. But either one would make me SOOO happy! So, what other books do you guys want?
Island looks awesome, too!
I found two to request this time. Alexandre Vachon and Stripped to the Bone: Portraits of Syrian Women. To have not one, but two that I want! And they are so different that I can't make up my mind which I want more.
Just a quick note to repeat what Lorannen said above. Check your address! Somehow mine had changed to firstname.lastname@example.org, so those trying to send me the MGs I had won were having problems getting the books to me. I'm sure my eyes have noted the correct mailing address and just slipped by the bad email address several times since this happened.
