I am assuming we are going to stick with the formula of posting our theme on the 15th of the previous month.
Ok, I have till mid-February to come up with a topic! I'll put it in my calendar!
It's my first time stopping by. This looks like fun if I'm understanding it: the host gets to choose any random CATegory and they post it by the 15th of the prior month. And the rest of us, if we so choose, read at least one book that fits that CATegory during the designated month. Yes?
My first time joining in as well - where and how would you give feedback on the books you've read - here or in the wiki?
>8 sushicat: Each month has its own thread for discussion. You also add the title of what you read and a rsting, if you choose to, to the wiki.
Thanks for the bump to the general thread -- I have a reminder to put up January's RandomCAT next week! :)
>8 sushicat: Welcome! I hope you have fun here! This particular CAT is my favourite. Everyone is very creative in coming up with themes.
Hi, sushicat! Great to see you here!
Just thought I'd post a link to the 2016 RandomCAT wiki, just so you can see what it looks like:
In each month's thread, some people simply post what they read, others post their reviews for what they read. Your choice! This is the link to this year's November RandomCAT, so you can see what people have posted there.
>17 majkia: D'oh! Knew I was forgetting something when I set up the thread. Thanks, Jean!! :)
>19 tess_schoolmarm: Unlike the other CATs, the RandomCAT theme is chosen by that month's host and will be revealed on or around the 15th of the previous month.
Due to a busy Easter weekend coming up, I have posted the May RandomCat early. You can find it here: http://www.librarything.com/topic/255017#
>28 VivienneR: I was going to go looking for it this evening, but I guess I have to wait...
June thread is up: http://www.librarything.com/topic/257589
Very sorry it's late. I was thinking I had August for some 'unknown' reason!
