If the Crucifix Killer was caught, how did you initially explain the symbol on the back of the neck of the victim?

I had a feeling that they caught the wrong person and the Crucifix killer was back.

I agree . The person they caught wasn't the killer. He might have known the killer and been persuaded to take the blame so the killer could disappear to return at a later date.

The only explanation can be that they initially had the wrong man.

Totally agree it said they had to have the wrong man.

I also presumed they had the wrong man and the Crucifix killer was at large.

I assumed that the wrong person was convicted for the original crimes

I was torn between wrong killer or copycat.

Definitely had the wrong man. Just wonder at the incentive for him to confess to these murders knowing he would get the death penalty.
