Nov 30, 2007, 6:59pm (top)Message 1: AnnaClaireNobody seems to have started this for November, so I thought I would. What did you get in the November batch? ETA: I didn't happen to get anything this month. Message edited by its author, Nov 30, 2007, 7:00pm. Nuttin'. Again. I got books the first two months, but nada the last three. Doesn't make sense to me, I thought a couple of them were very well matched to my library. Ah well, it's not like I have nothing to read!!! Hope everyone enjoys their books. nothing for me -- I'll be looking forward to those reviews, though! Nothing for me either; I was hoping to snag Becky after reading Finn earlier this year. I am looking forward to what the reviewers say about this one! Nov 30, 2007, 7:56pm (top)Message 5: booksngamesHoly cow, I got a book! That was unexpected. I didn't even recall requesting a copy of "Tracing Ancestors Among the Five Civilized Tribes: Southeastern Indians Prior to Removal" but apparently I did. Scary. Message edited by its author, Nov 30, 2007, 8:03pm. Nov 30, 2007, 8:23pm (top)Message 6: GeorgiaDawnNothing for me this time. Maybe in December! Nov 30, 2007, 8:35pm (top)Message 7: bookfetish First MessageCan't believe that I got one! I got The Future Love by Shirley Abbott. I'm looking forward to reading it. :) Nothing. I'm hoping for December!!! Dec 1, 2007, 1:38am (top)Message 9: shootingstarr7 First MessageI was lucky enough to snag The Winter Rose by Jennifer Donnelly. It was the first time I'd tried for a book, so I was really excited when I found out. Needless to say, I'll be watching the mail very closely 'til it comes. Dec 1, 2007, 1:52am (top)Message 10: rbottI have been notified that I will receive On Becoming an Alchemist: A Guide for the Modern Magician by Catherine MacCoun. Am looking forward to it, sounds like an interesting read. Dec 1, 2007, 4:41am (top)Message 11: BTRIPPI finally got selected this month ... thank goodness that the publishers are starting to send some "non-fiction" titles! I'm going to be getting The Comedy of Agony: A Book of Poisonous Contemplations, which I see is likely to be a quick read (at a mere 140 pages). Dec 1, 2007, 7:55am (top)Message 12: CEPI got The Winter Rose by Jennifer Donnelly. It's my third ER book! I am a bit amazed at my good fortune. Thank you, LT. I'll be getting to it in the next week or two - looking forward to it! :) Dec 1, 2007, 9:32am (top)Message 16: kaelireneeI got 101 Relaxation games for Children. With all the books on parenting and autism I have, I think the match made sense (though I'm fairly certain the book is for children in general, not just children with special needs). I'll be sure to let everyone know when the review goes up for it. I was also hoping to get On becoming an alchemist, so I hope those who did get the books will post reviews about it to let us know if they're worth the cost! Dec 1, 2007, 12:26pm (top)Message 17: lmedgertonI also got Becky by Lenore Hart, Wow #15, you got your copy already, that is cool! Interesting discussion on how the algorithm works over on the I didn't get picked again thread. Dec 1, 2007, 5:23pm (top)Message 18: nperrinI was selected for the first time and got The Winter Rose, which I hadn't realized was so long (now I'm intimidated, what with the holidays coming), but I'm very excited to review my first ER book. Thereby increasing my chances of getting another, of course.... I'm a bit surprised that's the one I was picked for, because I don't seem to have anything at all on its suggestions page--bizarre, that. But somehow LT magically knew I was interested anyway. Dec 1, 2007, 9:51pm (top)Message 19: LiteraryFelineI have been selected to read Breathless in Bombay by Murzban F. Shroff, which I am very much looking forward to reading. Dec 4, 2007, 10:34am (top)Message 46: ichliebebuecheNothing this month. Last month I got Lincoln: The Presidential Archives, which has been pretty much invisible on the threads, as far as I can tell.
