plot includes, a man in love with his former babysitter. She doesn't remember him. Woman always liked baby ruth candy and root beer. She finally remembers him when he takes his shirt off and he has a mole or a birthmark on either his side or back. I read this book well over 10 years ago. The cover features both hero and heroine. The woman is wearing a bomber jacket and she has shortish blond hair. I can't remember if this is a Harlequin or not. She was either his babysitter or just a neighbor. I don't think it was "The Invitation"

Hi, stepht1999!

It would be better if you reposted your query as its own thread: this board's culture is very much "one query per thread". Do be sure to include a helpful title, to make sure the right people are motivated to check out your post.

I'm trying to remember the name of a romance novel I read. The heroine pretends to be a boy because she wants to be a scientist when no one takes her seriously as a woman. She leaves home and books passage on a ship to some exotic place where she can do her research using a diving suit she invented. She falls in love with the captain of the ship who doesn't know she is a woman until later on in the novel. Thanks!

I am looking for a book I have not read in a very long time. All I remember is the woman travels back in time and meets the person she falls in love with only to say she can't stay in his time but must return back to her time. Later in the same book she goes back in time again to save him from death and missing from his boat trip and tells him he is the father of her child. I can't remember the title of this book. Can anyone help me? I believe it was published in 1999 at all before 2001 as my mom died december that year and she owned the book. it had a purple cover with lots of pink flowers. It is a fiction and time travel romance type of book. This is all I know about it...

I'm looking for a book and can't remmeber the title. It is not the time traveller's wife. This book was written in 1990's. I know the characters were suppose to be enemies of two different types of some kind of tribes. the characters are of a man from the past who founded this city the woman was raised in but she always admired the history of her city and the man who founded it. She became obsessed with him. Opportunity arrose where she could travel back in time and find him and she ended up falling in love with him. when she come back to the future she found out she was pregnant with his child. She ended up going back in time to bring him to the future because he ended up missing in a boating accident and his body was never recovered. she was scientist of some kind.

I've tried to create my own thread in here but all it tells me is add message reply to previous people or more... Apparently this thing is useless to get help it seems. I'm getting tired of trying to check back and only getting told I am doing something wrong in here...

The thing about starting your own thread is that most peeps will read the original post (about a babysitter romance) and think “well I have no clue” and won’t bother scrolling any farther. With your own thread and descriptive title you will be able to entice people who may be more likely to help you with your time travel book search. (Good luck by the way)

Hello, need help in finding the title or author of a romance book I read a couple of years ago. I can't remember the title, but I do remember the plot. *****older man, I believe he was either a senator or past vice pres of U.S. He falls in love with the woman hired to help his aging mother. His family gets together at the mothers house, their kind of written like the Kennedy's. There's a scene where the nephews and the uncles play touch football. I think there was a dangerous ex-husband. The H/H end up having a baby together. Hopefully this sparks someones memory.

I am looking for a which harqluin novel is about a masquerade themed work party where the ceo has a one night stand with a masked woman who turns out to be his PA. The book starts out with the woman crying on the balcony of the hotel where the party is being held because her Angel costume is torn and she can no longer go in and enjoy the party. The CEO is also on the balcony, notices her distress and offers to take to his hotel room so she can fix her costume. While in the room one thing leads to another and they make love but she keeps her mask on the whole time. Later she comes to work as his PA and is under the impression that he does not recognize her. But of course he does recognize her. Anyway I am going nuts trying to find it.

Hello! I have read so many books and don't remember the names of them to recommend them to others! Please help name this book:

Set in the city, modern day, a teenager has trouble in school, skips a lot and is kind of a loner. She walks in the field by an old lady's house and they are grumpy to one another at first, but they slowly become friends as the old lady (who is an ancient witch), teaches her the old ways. The girl picks herbs and they make potions and things to sell at the market together. There are also flashbacks in the old lady's life to show her as a witch when she was young. I think the cover is green??? Thanks!

I know you don’t think it is The Invitaion by Jude Deveraux, but I read that book multiple times in high school and that is the story in a nutshell. She is a great writer and I have read a lot of her novels.

Help! I know this is a fairly mainstream book so why I can't find it for the life of me is killing me ... it is a regency romance. The prologue is the hero's first wife dying in childbirth. He finds out it is not his child because she is calling out that God is punishing her for having cheated. The father is the heros brother. What book is this??
