A summary from Bokus
"In his latest #1 "New York Times" bestseller, Koontz offers the story of an ordinary man whose commitment to his wife will take him on a harrowing journey of adventure, sacrifice, and redemption to the mystery of love itself--and to a showdown with the darkness that would destroy it forever."
I liked the book, a bit different than his other books.

I got this from Audible and really enjoyed listening to it. Great book for those looong car rides to work! I agree that it is different, but in a good way.
