Was Thorvaldsen doing a good job of planting doubts about Ashby to Laroque?

Yes because at the meeting she seemed to trust Thorvaldsen more than Ashby.

He's pushing the 'baddies" into a corner but I think he's getting in over his head on this go round.

He's doing a good job but I imagine it is still going to backfire in some way.

I agree he's done a fine job of convincing Larocque but agree he's going to get himself into trouble.

I think he did a great job on Eliza. especially telling her to expect Ashby to tell her that he was unable to get the book because someone else had stolen it -- really well done on his part
