Fascinating & suggestive. I'd certainly like to read results of more research into this & other ethologists' take on this study.

(Bemused by the rather clickbait title in Quartz. 'You're our treasurer and you're good with numbers, Wild Fido, so you count the votes. And don't forget to multiply Wild Rex's and Wild Queenie's barks by 3.')
