Welcome aboard and have fun! I like the "books borrowed without permission" kitten -- that describes the books I borrow from my parents :)

Welcome and enjoy the reading! Do the owners of the books borrowed without permission notice their absence?

My, I need to update this page.

Some books fit seemingly contradictory categories (eg. own / library). The Shakespeare works are an example of that. I have the complete works of Shakespeare, but I"m not going to actually read them out of that, so I get it from the Library (or Amazon, etc.) in a format I can read or listen to.

I'd still count the Shakespeare as books you own, even if you actually read the plays from the library or in another format.

Ok, well I've got it updated. I didn't include some of the books I included in my 75 book challenge (namely, the children's books that I read with my kids) for no other reason than I didn't want to. :)

I also updated the "buy" category to include books that I am given, win, find randomly, etc. That was more the intent, not just the ones for which I pay real money.

I'd agree with that. I've gotten library copies of books I own, for example if I'm traveling and want them on my ereader for ease. My review will go on my "owned book" page, so I'll count it as owned.
