Did you think Shirley would shoot Hale? When she did, did you think he would have been killed?

I thought she'd shoot at him but I never expected her to kill him. I think Cotton or Wyatt will do that toward the end of the book

I never thought she would shoot him. Too early in the book for our main bad guy to die.

No Hale was needed for the end of the book so she wasn’t going to kill him. Steve Berry has overplayed this strategy in the book with already trying to fool us with Hale during the challenge.

I think if she had been quicker and not explained why she was holding a gun on him she would have shot him.
