Kevin Hayes, author of The Library of Benjamin Franklin*, has replied to my email. He says it's fine with him if we use the material in TLOB, and wishes us good luck.

Now we wait to hear from the publisher...

*Edwin Wolf 2nd was the original researcher on this book, and is given 1st credit as author; he passed away in 1991. The work was completed by Kevin J. Hayes, and published in 2006.
