It's official: we have permission to freely use as much of the information from The Library of Benjamin Franklin as we want!
I'll be forwarding the email to the LT powers that be.
I'm flu ridden, but I want to get started. The first thing is for everyone to chose a section.
Check out the book (either in hard copy or on Google Books) and pick the section you want, then head over to the Volunteer thread and let me know what section you want. Google Books doesn't contain the entire book, so if you're using it, you'll want to verify that you've picked a section that is complete.
Within 24 hours of you posting your selection, I'll send the password via a private message on your profile page.
I'm feeling really icky right now (I think that's the medical term!), so I can't write up the steps. If you check the Jefferson cataloging thread in the Dead People's Books group, jbd1 outlines their procedures. We're basically following those, except we aren't ready to start tagging.
I hope to get more info out in the next 2-3 days. Sorry about being sick -- it's all my SO's fault...ahh, the gift of illness ;-)
